LBRA Women’s Competitive Team

We are a women's competitive team that is open to the experienced rower as well as the less experienced rower.  We practice all year, both weekdays and weekends.  There are scheduled practices on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 5:30- 7:00 am.  Weekend practices at 6:00- 8:00 am.  We rotate between circuit training and erg training on Sundays and then follow with a short row on the water.  Commitment levels range between 2-day a week, 3-day a week, or 5-day a week rowers during the summertime, depending on personal availability.  After summer, we offer the 3- or 5-day options.   We compete in local races at the Long Beach Boathouse as well as travel to races.  We have our long-term goal of World Rowing Master's Regatta in Hungary, September 2019 with many races in between. We are coached by Katrin Gleie Baverstockan Olympian and former member of the Danish National Team.  Katrin successfully competed on USC's varsity rowing team.  She has coached extensively for the last 10 years at both the Junior and the Master's level while continuing to compete as a highly successful Master rower.  She was a member of the LBRA women's 8+ that set a new record at the Head of the Charles in 2016.
Fees for the LBRA Masters Women's Team:  $200 per month  5-days per week, includes one-on-one video and personal analysis. $125 per month 3-days per week.
