  1. I am interested in joining LBRA, but I have some questions first. Who can I ask?

  2. Can I row as a guest/visitor without becoming a full member? Yes, we accept guest rowers. Our guest policy can be found starting on page 4 of our Guidelines for Use. You’ll also need to submit our liability waiver. If you’re not already in contact with a current LBRA member, you can reach out to us at membership@longbeachrowing.org for more information about how to row as a guest.
  3. What if I am new to rowing?
    If you are new to rowing, the first step is to take beginning rowing lessons. In fact, many of our members started by taking lessons at LBRA. Lessons will introduce you to the form and technique of rowing, and does not require a club membership.  Information about our lessons can be found on the “Learn to Row” page.  There is no obligation to continue with a membership once your lessons are complete.
  4. How do I officially join the club?
    If you decide you would like to join the club, you simply fill out the membership application and pay the annual fee. You’ll receive an electronic key and have full access and rights as explained to you by the Boat Captain.
  5. How can I report an issue/concern/compliment related to this website?
    Contact our volunteer web admin at webmaster@longbeachrowing.org.
  6. What are club hours?
    The club is open from 5:00am-10:00pm, 7 days a week.
  7. Do you have a Facebook group?
    Yes, it is called Friends of LBRA.
