2007-2008 Bay Series

 

Course Map

The Bay Series head races are free, timed, and scored events designed primarily, but not exclusively, for scullers.  Each event is handicapped by age, and entrants compete for individual and overall series standing.  LBRA sponsors pastries, coffee, juices and fresh fruit for all of the Bay Series competitors.  All the culinary delights are prepared and served up by longstanding LBRA member, Vince.  Map of Rowable Water

Bay Series competitions are held on the following Sunday mornings:

 Entry Information

 

Download the entry form, print a hardcopy to fill out and bring to the clerk by 6:30 a.m. on race day.

 

bulletArrive by 6:30 a.m. sharp to check in with the course clerk so all can launch, warm up, and start on time at 7:30 a.m. sharp.  Any delay jeopardizes the race since we have to exit the Marine Stadium before 8:00 a.m. when water skiers will hit the water.

 

bulletPlease be advised that LBRA does not patrol or control the the Bay Series race course. It is your responsibility to avoid marine traffic and obstacles. Be prepared to encounter powerboats, sailboats, canoes, kayaks, inflatable boats, people fishing from inner tubes, swimmers, buoys and bridge abutments. Your participation in this race does not excuse you from adhering to the Rules of the Road. You alone are responsible for the safety of your boat and the others on the water. Please be careful.
