New policy regarding Juniors at LBRA

Please be advised that the policy regarding Juniors at LBRA was changed by the LBRA Board at the January 2013 board meeting.  In order to bring us into compliance with the recent written directive of our landlord, the City of Long Beach (i.e. that LBJC is the designated Junior program of record for all junior rowers wishing to train at the Pete Archer Rowing Center) and to refocus on our core mission, the LBRA Board took clear and decisive action at the January 2013 board meeting: All under-18 individuals at the boathouse (who are not under constant and direct parental supervision) must row under the LBJC program, and no one, whether over or under 18, may compete (or row, train, or practice for competition) as an “LBRA Junior” or a Junior who is “affiliated” (or any similar designation) with LBRA. (New policy regarding Juniors at LBRA in its entirety.)
